Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Bookie Labs (“Bookie,” “we,” “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. Bookieis a technology product under active development; today this site’s main purpose is to share what we’re building and let you join the waitlist.

We keep data collection deliberately small. We do not sell your personal information.

We only collect what the site needs to work and to reach you about early access:

• Waitlist details.The email address you submit, and any optional preferences you choose (for example: how you’d use Bookie, which channels and venues interest you).
• Basic usage analytics.Aggregated, privacy-respecting data about how pages are used — such as page views and referring links — to understand what’s useful. This is only active when analytics keys are configured.
• Technical logs. Standard server and request information (like IP address and browser type) that is generated automatically when any website is loaded.

We do not ask for, or want, financial account credentials, wallet keys, or payment details through this site.

• To add you to the waitlist and contact you about early access and launch.
• To prioritize what we build, using the preferences you share (in aggregate wherever possible).
• To operate, secure, and improve the site.

We rely on your consent when you submit the waitlist form, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the site for the rest.

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and the waitlist, and only so they can perform that work for us. Depending on our configuration these may include hosting (Vercel), a waitlist or notification destination (such as a webhook, Airtable, or email provider), and product analytics.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Bookie, our users, or the public.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

The site uses minimal cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for it to function, and — where enabled — privacy-respecting analytics to measure usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; core parts of the site will still work.

Bookie references and, in the product, will connect to third-party venues and platforms (for example prediction markets, exchanges, and messaging apps). This site may link out to them and to our social accounts. Those services have their own privacy practices, and this policy does not cover them — please review theirs.

We keep waitlist information until you ask us to remove it or until it’s no longer needed for the purposes above. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to remove you from the waitlist, at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. To make a request, email hello@bookie.dog.

Bookie is not directed to children, and the site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

As Bookiemoves from waitlist to product, we’ll update this policy and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here.
